Travelling is fun, but when the road takes so much time, it often becomes boring and tiring. Even if you travel with family or friends, talking and discussing all the same topics all over again can be really stressful. Travelling alone is not a guarantee for a fun trip, either. Most people sleep, eat, read books, watch series (if they aren’t driving of course), or listen to music. But these activities can also lose their attraction after a few hours.

If you can turn the karaoke on and sing with friends, this is a fun thing to do. Just make sure you do not make the driver mad eventually, or that the rest of the passengers won’t lock you up in a baggage car.

Learn a Language

Learning a new language on the road may be very useful, but don’t take that too seriously. Learn lists of words, make up your own weird or stupid dialogues, or watch a movie without translation. If you travel with friends, try learning some words from the weirdest language you can find. Even if you learn nothing eventually, this is at least a very refreshing activity for the brain.

Here’s the game – one has to fall asleep (unintentionally), and when that person wakes up, the rest has to come up with a weird story that happened when the person was asleep. The one who laughs first loses the game.

This one can only be played in the car. The game goes as follows: each person in the car waves to people in other cars. The one who gets the biggest number of wave-backs wins.

This game is for the most boring trips when everyone is tired and exhausted. Every person in the game has to start commenting on the most trivial things taking place around, as if they comment on a basketball match. The one who comments in the funniest way wins.
